Intent to Close Road (Range Road 2185, east of NE 07-18-18-W2)

Purpose: Pursuant to Section 13 of The Municipalities Act, the Council of the RM of Edenwold No. 158 gives notice to consider adopting a proposed bylaw to close a municipal road.

Bylaw No. 2025-17 – A Bylaw to Provide for the Closure of a Municipal Road: To close the municipal road located east of NE 07-18-18-W2 (Range Road 2185).

Intent:To close a municipal road for the purpose of deterring vandalism and trespassing on the adjacent private properties.       

Public Inspection: Any person may inspect the proposed bylaw online at www.rmedenwold.ca or at the RM of Edenwold No. 158’s office, 100 Hutchence Road, Emerald Park, Saskatchewan between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM from Monday to Friday, excluding statutory holidays.  Copies are available at cost.

Public Hearing: Council will hold a public hearing to receive submissions, written or verbal, on the proposed bylaw at 10:00 a.m. (local time) on Tuesday, August 26th, 2025, in the Council Chambers of the RM of Edenwold No. 158, 100 Hutchence Road, Emerald Park, Saskatchewan. Written submissions will be presented to Council and can be sent by mail or email.
