Custom Work with Special Equipment

The custom work rate is $225.00/hr plus applicable taxes, for a minimum 30-minute contract.   This rate applies to:

  • Motor Graders in the summer for lane grading 

    • Public works staff will grade private roads when a grader is previously scheduled to be in the area. 

    • Custom grading is not available during the winter.

  • Front-end loaders in the winter for snow removal

Other equipment rental rates will follow the rates outlined in Saskatchewan Heavy Construction Association (SHCA) Equipment Rental Rates & Membership Roster.  Other equipment rentals will be at Council's discretion.

If you are a non-ratepayer or represent another municipality, you or your municipality can also request custom work contracts, subject to Council approval.
