The RM of Edenwold owns and maintains two water wells on the north side of Highway No. 1, as well as a water treatment plant which supplies water to Emerald Park, numerous residential, and industrial subdivisions. The utility has the capability to service more than twice the current homes and businesses.

Water/Sewer Utility Invoices
Water meters are read every 3 months and ratepayers are invoiced for actual consumption.
Invoices are sent by regular mail or electronically. To receive your invoice and newsletter by email an EMAIL consent form can be submitted to the RM office.
Water and Sewer Utility Payment Options
Cash, cheque or debit are accepted at the RM office. Office hours: 9:00-12:00 and 1:00-5:00 Monday to Friday. By mail: payment by cheque. Payment by credit card may be made through our website only. It is through a third party called "Plastiq" and can be accessed on the right hand side of our Home Page. Payments may take 3-5 business days to process. A Plastiq service fee will be applied (2.5% for credit cards, 1% for debit cards. We cannot accept credit card payments over the phone.

Drinking Water Quality and Compliance
Drinking Water Analysis Test Kits are available at the RM Office for residents who are currently on a private well system. The cost of laboratory fees are dependant on the type of analysis.
Information for Property Owners with Sewer Cleanout Pipes
Sewer cleanout pipes are located on your property line. Please ensure that the pipe has a lid on it. Without a lid the sewer line WILL freeze. It is not the responsibility of the Municipality to thaw it open. Costs incurred to thaw it open are the responsibility of the property owner owner. Please see attached picture of a sewer cleanout.
