The municipal mill rate for 2024 is set at 4.9073 mills (0% increase from 2023). This mill rate will allow the RM to fully fund its 2024 budget.
Different types of property are also affected by Mill Rate Factors (MRF). In 2024, MRFs are set at: (same as 2023)

The province sets school mill rates. RM school taxes go to the Prairie Valley School Division: (same as 2023)

| Residential: | 4.54 mills |
| Commercial/Industrial: | 6.86 mills |
| Resource: | 9.88 mills |
