Official Community Plan, Zoning Bylaw, & Sector Plan

The RM is currently undertaking a review and update of the Official Community Plan (OCP) and Zoning Bylaw. For more details see Current & Complete Projects.

  • The Official Community Plan (OCP) is the RM’s big-picture plan, guiding decisions on growth and development with key goals and policies.

  • The Zoning Bylaw (ZB) puts the OCP into action with detailed rules for land use and property development. 

  • The Emerald Park Sector Plan provides an additional level of detail, and helps to guide development within the Emerald Park area.
