Strychnine Update

Eligibility to access strychnine under the emergency registration has been approved to support the integrated pest management of Richardson’s ground squirrels in Saskatchewan.

For the 2026 growing season, strychnine is expected to be available for late‑summer application.

Additional program details will be shared on the RM of Edenwold website, on social media and, via Voyent Alert once product manufacturing timelines are confirmed. We will also notify producers if the product becomes available before the spring application window closes.
