Spring Road Restriction Program

UPDATED: Pursuant to section 35(1) of “The Highways and Transportation Act, 1997” it is hereby ordered that, effective at 12:01 am on Monday, March 24, 2025, until further notice, vehicles other than those exempted from “The Vehicle Weight and Dimensions Regulations, 2010”, shall be restricted.

Any truck hauling loads of goods and materials on roads in the RM are restricted by spring road ban weights which are based upon the width of the tires and axle groupings as indicated in the Ministry order. The RM will review restrictions as conditions change.
