When:Notice of Intent to Amend the Zoning Bylaw
Pursuant to Section 207 of The Planning and Development Act, 2007, the Council of the R.M. of Edenwold No.158 gives notice to amend Zoning Bylaw 2019-20 as follows:
Bylaw No. 2026-18: Text Change
Intent: To amend clause 5.5.3 of Zoning Bylaw 2019-20 to provide opportunity for the development of garage suites in a property’s side yard, where garage suite is listed as a discretionary use.
Note: Garage suites are listed as a discretionary use in a limited number of Zoning Districts and prohibited elsewhere.\
Public Inspection: Any person may inspect the bylaw online at www.rmedenwold.ca, or at the R.M. of Edenwold No. 158’s office located at 100 Hutchence Road, Emerald Park, Saskatchewan, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday, excluding statutory holidays. Copies are available at cost.
Public Hearing: Council will hold a public hearing to receive submissions, written or verbal, on the proposed bylaw at 10:00 a.m. (local time) on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, in the Council Chambers of the R.M. of Edenwold No.158, 100 Hutchence Road, Emerald Park, Saskatchewan. Written submissions will be presented to Council and can be sent by mail or email.
