To support local businesses during and after COVID-19, the RM of Edenwold launched the Economic Development & Recovery Plan—a collaborative effort with local business leaders to boost safety, growth, and resilience.

Why now?
COVID-19 reshaped how business is done. In response, the RM reduced the 2020 municipal mill rate by 15% and introduced this plan to directly support local businesses.
Plan Highlights
Phase 1 (July 2020):
- First Aid Training: Subsidized training for local business owners and employees.
- Green Fund: Grants up to $2,000 for business landscaping improvements. To learn more about the Green Fund and application form, click here.

Phase 2 (December 2020):
