What is a Sector Plan?

 Considered a complementary document to the OCP, a Sector Plan provides additional direction for development within a specific geographic area. In late 2022, the RM adopted the Emerald Park Sector Plan to guide development and growth within the Emerald Park residential subdivision, and the Great Plains Industrial Park East and West subdivisions. All development within the Emerald Park and Great Plains Industrial Park area must conform to the OCP, the ZB, and the Emerald Park Sector Plan.
