Notice of Discretionary Use Application 

Pursuant to Section 55 of The Planning and Development Act, 2007, the Council of the R.M. of Edenwold No.158 gives notice that a discretionary use application has been received and the details are as follows:

 

Discretionary Use Application: Storage of Recreational Vehicles

Blk/Par D, NW 34-17-17 W2M


Intended Discretionary Use: To allow for the development of an outdoor recreational vehicle storage operation as per Section 5.26 of Zoning Bylaw 2019-20.

“Recreational Vehicle” is defined as a vehicle used for personal pleasure or travels by and individual or family which may or may not be towed behind a principal vehicle and includes motor homes, trailers, boats, snowmobiles, ATVs, etc. 

Recreational vehicle storage is subject to additional development standards to help ensure that suite does not interfere with use and enjoyment of adjacent properties.  The RM’s development standards for storage of recreational vehicles can be found in Section 5.26 of the RM’s Zoning Bylaw, available here: www.rmedenwold.ca/zoningbylaw.

 

Public Hearing: Council will hold a public hearing to receive submissions, written or verbal, on the discretionary use at 10:00 a.m. (local time) on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, in the Council Chambers of the R.M. of Edenwold No.158, 100 Hutchence Road, Emerald Park, Saskatchewan. Written submissions will be presented to Council and can be sent by mail, email or dropped off at the RM Office.
