Planning Fee Bylaw No. 2026-06 (effective September 1, 2026)

The Planning and Development Fee Bylaw establishes the fees applicable to various planning applications in accordance with The Planning and Development Act, 2007. The RM has undertaken a comprehensive review of the fees contained within the current bylaw, with a primary objective of achieving full cost recovery for the processing of each application.

While the review was guided primarily by cost recovery the Planning and Development team also compared fee structures with similar and neighbouring municipalities.

The project is now in its final stages, and the new fees have a implementation date of September 1, 2026.
