Bylaws, Policies, & Other Documents

Council meets twice a month to adopt bylaws and policies. These documents apply to all residents, visitors, employees, and business owners in the municipality. Authority to adopt bylaws and policies is delegated to Council through the Municipalities Act, 2005.

If you would like to propose a new bylaw, an amendment to an existing bylaw, or have any questions about specific bylaws or policies, please contact the RM office at (306) 771-2522 or for more information.

COVID-19 Policies

The RM of Edenwold No. 158 continues to prioritize safety in keeping Council, staff, and members of the public healthy and comfortable accessing municipal services during the pandemic. As such, the RM has implemented several policies to maintain the safety of all visitors and employees:

  • Municipal Council Meetings and any other public hearing or meeting held by the municipality that are open to the public are considered public events and therefore are subject to the provincial Public Health Order. This includes mandatory masking (effective September 17th, 2021), and verification of proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test (effective October 12th, 2021).
  • Residents and business owners visiting the RM office to pay taxes, utilities, or to conduct other municipal business must wear a mask at all times. As this is not an event, however, the RM does not require proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test.
  • Pursuant to the RM's Vaccination and Testing Policy, all RM Councillors and staff must be fully vaccinated or provide a negative COVID test at least every 7 days.

If you have any questions about the RM's COVID-19 policies, please contact Susan Stevenson, Occupational Health & Safety Officer, at
